Layering Ice Cream Sandwiches:
In a 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange a layer of ice cream sandwiches to cover the bottom.
Whipped Topping Layer:
Spread half of the whipped topping evenly over the ice cream sandwiches.
Hot Fudge and Caramel Sauce:
Drizzle half of the hot fudge and caramel sauce over the whipped topping layer.
Nuts and Chocolate Chips:
Sprinkle half of the chopped nuts and chocolate chips (if using) over the sauces.
Repeat the layering process with another layer of ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping, sauces, nuts, and chocolate chips.
Top with additional drizzles of hot fudge and caramel sauce, and add sprinkles for a colorful garnish.
Freezing the Cake:
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.
Prior to serving, let the ice cream cake sit at room temperature for a few minutes to make it easier to slice.
Slice and serve the delightful Ice Cream Sandwich Cake, savoring the perfect combination of ice cream and indulgent toppings.
